Ground Floor Block and Beam almost complete !

Roof to the first floor lean to is applied and hardcore and grit applied to the ground floor before concrete is poured. No need for block and beam here.

Another View of the ground floor area of the lean to part of the building taken from the main body of the building.

A view taken from the West showing most of the block and beam floors in place.

David's team spreading concrete over the black plastic liner for the basement floor.

Concrete laid on the ground floor of the Lean To, protruding soil pipes for the new toilet block in the foreground and the blue mains water pipe.

View of the completed basement waiting for the remaining block and beam floor which will be
installed tomorrow.

Exterior of the basement wall, which is a cavity wall. The exterior walls will be rendered. In the distance you can see that part of the first floor joists have been installed into two bays.

Another view of the interior of the basement which will be used for storage. The next posting will show the erection and installation of the wooden framed panels which we expect to start in 2-3 weeks time.
